All About Me

Hi, my name is Leslie Reynolds. Welcome to my blog. This blog has been created for an online class MEDA 5400 at East Tennessee State University.

I am a graduate assistant with the Fit Kids Program at ETSU. As a Fit Kids Instructor I teach physical education classes in Washington County Schools. Spring semester of 05 I taught at one elementary school and one middle school; I have not yet recieved my placements for this upcoming Fall semester. The Fit Kids program is wonderful for the students that we teach because for some it is the only time physical activity is included in their day. Most schools that the Fit Kids program are associated with do not have a physical education teacher.

I live in Blountville, Tn with my wonderful husband Bryan and our spoiled rotten dog Izzy. My husband and I just celebrated our one year wedding anniversary in June. We are very excited to be expecting our first child in December. We will be finding out in a couple of weeks if this bundle of joy is a boy or girl. So, until the baby comes in December we still have a few months to continue to spoil or dog. :) Bryan and I are both very active in sports we actually met while I was a referee and he was playing volleyball. Since I found out I was pregnant it has slowed down are hobbies which include: volleyball, softball, and whitewater kayaking.

I am primarily using my home computer for this course and it is a PC operating on Win 98. My internet connection is cable and I must say I'm quite spoiled by it. I am comfortable using my PC for many things however I hope to gain a better understanding through this class. I hope to be introduced and instructed in ways of bringing technology into my classroom.
